My Birthday Boy!!!

So Britain woke up to streamers and balloons. We thought we had red balloons and streamers and realized at 10:00p.m. we didn't. Thank goodness you can still have a good balloon fight with pink. We then went to Burger King because Brit wanted the toy (super hero squad) that came in the kids meal. Then we headed out to see Alvin and The Chipmunks The Squeakuel. After that Britain wanted to buy some toys with the birthday money he received. Then we went and picked up his friend Jay for dinner at Britain's choice (Golden Corral). We then headed home to open presents and let the boys have fun. I am so glad to have my not so little boy!!! He was my answered prayer. Happy Birthday Britain we love you sooooooooooo much and we are sooooooooooo glad you are in our family.

Merry Christmas

As Britain said "THIS WAS THE BEST CHRISTMAS EVER"!!! Roni and Bre stayed the night so we had them Christmas morning. Santa was good to the kids. Aspen's favorite present this year was getting a guitar. We are all hoping she will become the next Taylor Swift. Britain's favorite present was his Nuggets jersey. Maybe we will have a NBA superstar! We went to my mom's for Christmas in the afternoon and had fun with everyone there. It was a great day and sorry to have it end so fast. We are also so grateful to know the true meaning of Christmas and be able to celebrate the birth of Our Savior Jesus Christ. Merry Christmas to all!!!

Aspen went to the plastic surgeon!!!

Aspen had an accident with a brick retaining wall back in March 2009 so she ended up with a nice scar on her cheek. So we went to a plastic surgeon and had him repair it to see if we could make it a little less visible. We went on Wednesday, December 23rd to
Dr. Gonyon. Aspen was very brave and didn't cry at all. So we go back in next Wednesday to get the stitches removed. What I couldn't believe is the rocks he pulled out, when supposedly the E.R. got them all out even after doing an X-ray to make sure. Anyways Merry Christmas to Aspen!!!

The Christmas Carol 2009

Aspen played Chestnut the Angel in her school drama version of The Christmas Carol. She had to memorize 17 lines. She did great and loved it. The funniest part was that poor Marley was too short to fit in the door hole. We all had a good laugh at that. The kids did great and Aspen can't wait to do Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory next. Ryan, Britain and I along with her friend Abby were there to support her in her first play. Congratulations Aspen you did a great job!!! Click on the picture to get a closer look at each picture.

Aspen's School Christmas Party

I was one of two mothers who were in charge of Aspen's class Christmas Party. We played the good ole game of eat the donut off the string. They had so much fun! I didn't get pictures of Brit's party because I was at Aspen's class the whole time but he said he had a great party also. I am glad school is out for Christmas Break!!!

CNA Class Is Over!!!

As of December 10th my CNA class is over. I had fun and learned lots. I had fun at clinicals and it really opened up my eyes to the Nursing home world. I fell in love with some of the residents and realized how important the job really is to these elderly people. I will take the state certification in January then after taking a CPR class. I will be able to look for a job.

My cousins baby shower

Aspen and I hosted a baby shower for my cousin Debbie. We had so much fun especially playing the diaper game. You melt different candy bars on diapers and then everyone guesses what candy bar it is. It was pretty funny watching everyone sniff the diapers.

Britain playing Basketball 2009

Britain's first time playing basketball was a great experience. He had great coaches and a great team. He loved going to practice and of course the games. He did great and scored at least once if not more every game. He was so sad when the season ended.

Britain's School Christmas Concert 2009

This is Britain's favorite song he sang at his Christmas school concert. He is at the very top in the middle, he got stuck behind a big kid (kind of a find Waldo). He loves the Grinch so it fits that he loves this song.
