Swimming at Centennial Pool

This summer we have spent a lot of time at Centennial Pool. This time we brought Aspen and Britain's friends Heather and Wesley. They had so much fun playing in the pool. What a great way to spend a summer day!

Visiting with Julia Nachman and Family

I haven't seen Julia for about 10 years. We had fun catching up and seeing eachothers family.

The Geek Squad

Britain had to get reading glasses last year at the beginning of 1st grade. Ryan and I both had to get glasses for the first time this summer. Ryan needs them for looking at the computer and driving. I have them for reading and night driving. We can live without them but it enhances things that is for sure. So we had to get a picture of our Geek Squad!

Denver Museum of Nature and Science

On July 16th we went to The Denver Museum of Nature and Science. Breanna gave us ticket for Christmas last year so we could go see Body Worlds. It was a great gift and we enjoyed it so much. We not only went to Body Worlds but we went to the kids zone and watched experiments and also went to the health exhibit. Britain also had to go see the dinosaur bones. It was a great way to spend a Friday and we loved Body Worlds!!!

Grandma and Grandpa Paul took Aspen and Brit to the Dairy

Gardell and Leann took the kids for the day and took them to a local Dairy called Cozy Cow Dairy. They each got to pick an ice cream flavor to take home. Yum Yum!!!

Lunch with the ladies!

Terra Hall came to visit from Canada and she wanted to get together with Andrea Rush and Alanna Moses. So we ate lunch at our favorite place Johnny Carrinos. We like to get their italian cream sodas YUM YUM!

Aspen's Track and Field 2010

Aspen is doing Track and Field through the rec center this summer and she is loving it. She races in the 100 meter, 400 meter and the long jump. It has been a good experience for her and great exercise.

My big 39th Birthday! UGH!!!

So July 11th I turned 39, I feel a mid-life crisis coming on! Ryan and the kids thought it would be funny to put my 24th birthday on my favorite cake (ice cream). My mom and I spent saturday together shopping, the shoes are just some of my purchases. I am into zebra print right now if you can't tell. Ryan and the kids got me my new bed set, of course zebra print. My wonderful mom even got me those beautiful flowers. My wonderful in-laws cooked a traditional Malaysian dinner for my birthday too, so all and all a great birthday just wish I was really turning 24!!!

Swim lessons 2010

This year Britain was still in Level 2 swimming lessons. He wasn't having great experiences with the lessons and finally this time he got it. For the first time in level 2 they took him in the deep end to jump off the diving board and he loved it. So he is on to level 3 and he can't wait to jump off the diving board some more. Aspen was in level 5 and is now going on to level 6. She learned nothing new but she passed to the next level. Britain will take another lesson this summer but Aspen didn't want to with her track going on.

We just finished level 3 swimming lessons with Britain and he passed to level 4. His teacher said he is an awesome swimmer.
