My first day at my new job!

I finally got a job it took a little over a month but thanks to some introductions at clinical and my friend Andrea I am now working at Fairacres Manor. I work 5:00p.m. to 10:00p.m. right now Sunday through Wednesday. I am going to see if I can change schedules to Monday through Thursday in April. I went to a 7 hour training last Thursday March 4th and started working on Friday. I have been orienting Friday, Sunday and Monday today will be my official first solo day. Everyone has been really nice but it is really busy and you really don't get much one on one time with the residents. Since I have been doing this I have really been laying the ground work for Aspen to take Ryan and I in to her household when we can no longer take care of ourselves. I know I can't make her but it doesn't hurt to plant the seed. So I was so nervous before my first day and when I got to my car I found these notes from my children. I took pictures so I could remember them, because it is times like these that make being a mom wonderful. I am really glad to have gotten this job they seem flexible with my schedule so we will see how it goes. I will say I love wearing scrubs it is like wearing pajamas to work.
