My Grandma Chris turns 91!!!

On Friday March 5th my Grandma Chris turned 91. She looks great and is enjoying good health. We went to my Aunt Jody's farm and had fun with everyone celebrating another year with my Grandma. I need to add that Aspen took all of these pictures except for the one that she is in. I might have a little photographer.

Excuse the horrible pictures I need a better camera but this is all I have to commemorate another season of basketball. Aspen had so much fun she loved going to practice and that is how I know my kids love a sport. She doesn't even complain when her father coaches her from the sidelines. Her coach was very nice but I think that Ryan has decided to coach next season so we will see how that goes. All and all a fun season and now on to volleyball!

My first day at my new job!

I finally got a job it took a little over a month but thanks to some introductions at clinical and my friend Andrea I am now working at Fairacres Manor. I work 5:00p.m. to 10:00p.m. right now Sunday through Wednesday. I am going to see if I can change schedules to Monday through Thursday in April. I went to a 7 hour training last Thursday March 4th and started working on Friday. I have been orienting Friday, Sunday and Monday today will be my official first solo day. Everyone has been really nice but it is really busy and you really don't get much one on one time with the residents. Since I have been doing this I have really been laying the ground work for Aspen to take Ryan and I in to her household when we can no longer take care of ourselves. I know I can't make her but it doesn't hurt to plant the seed. So I was so nervous before my first day and when I got to my car I found these notes from my children. I took pictures so I could remember them, because it is times like these that make being a mom wonderful. I am really glad to have gotten this job they seem flexible with my schedule so we will see how it goes. I will say I love wearing scrubs it is like wearing pajamas to work.

Activity Girls gave Ryan a Heart Attack

Our Valentine celebration started on Friday the 12th. I was in charge of Aspen's class party we had a great time playing games and eating pizza with pink ice cream floats. I love doing her parties and getting to know her class but unfortunately I don't get to be with Britain in his class on the party days which he is not used to. There is a picture of him holding his valentine mailbox he made in class, he said he had lots of fun having ice cream sundaes. Aspen's activity day girls from church came to our home and gave our door a "Heart Attack" there were lots of cute notes thanking Ryan for all the service he does for our church and some great yummy rice krispy treats. The kids woke up to lots of Valentine sweets and that night we played Valentine games as a family. We had a great day and it is always great to have a special day to show your love for others!!!
